About Maddy

Madison Ashley Jade Minisee, affectionately called “Maddy” entered our world September 19, 2002. We often refer to her as the “firecracker” of the family due to her vivacious & infectious personality. Maddy loves singing, songwriting, dancing, acting and crocheting. She is an amazing teacher, working alongside me at Crescendo Conservatory of the Arts, teaching children to play the violin & cello. She is also a devoted youth worship leader at her local church, Mt. Rubidoux SDA.

During the past four years, Madison maintained a very rigorous schedule, performing at schools throughout the region promoting inclusiveness & anti-bullying. As a member of the Ambassadors, she also performed at Disneyland, the Fox Theater, and House of Blues Anaheim. With the same group, she traveled as far as Hawaii & Scotland for the Aberdeen International Youth Festival, gracing the stage in riveting theatric performances.

Madison’s love for crochet, led her to launch her own fashion line, The Maddy Co at the age of 14. She has had the opportunity to create outfits for an international market, using instagram to gain notoriety. Her designs have been featured in Teen Vogue, on BET’s Black Girls Rock, and in a music video by upcoming artist, Tim Johnson, Jr. This past year she received the coveted Young Arts Merit Award in Fashion and Design.

As amazing as she is with some yarn and a crochet hook, she is equally gifted vocally. Madison’s most notable accomplishments to date have been performing with Jon Foreman at the Glass House in San Diego and releasing her first single “Make It Great” which was the theme song for the Toms x Mbargo campaign in January of this year.

We are so proud of Madison!!! She has grown so much over the last four years. She’s been resilient in the face of adversity. And all the while, maintained her grades to graduate with high honors. Thank you for being her village of support & for taking time to celebrate her with us.

Tune is for Maddy’s Virtual Graduation Celebration, July 9th at 5PM PST
